Martin 000-42EC Eric Clapton Limited Edition Acoustic, Natural w/Case USED

Martin 000-42EC Eric Clapton Limited Edition Acoustic, Natural w/Case USED

This is a rare 1995 Limited Edition Martin 000-42EC Eric Clapton signature model acoustic guitar. This particular guitar is #85 of 461 total examples made. When Martin was developing its first Eric Clapton 000-42EC, Eric Clapton requested the construction of the guitar should be based on the structure of his pre-war 1939, 000-42 and his modified 000-28. The most beloved components of these instruments were combined and optimized to create the Martin Limited Edition 000-42EC.

The number "461" was taken from his 1974 comeback album entitled "461 Ocean Boulevard," the address of the house in Florida that Clapton rented during the album's recording sessions. The guitar is in excellent condition and comes with a hardshell case.
