Gibson A-4 1913 Blacktop Mandolin w/Original Hard Case USED
A wonderful example of a Gibson A-4 Mandolin we believe to be a 1913 model based on its serial number (#22326). You are looking at an instrument that is over 100 years old with its original hardshell case. The instrument plays well and sounds great. The action is very nice.
You will receive a cherished Gibson mandolin with an oval sound hole, solid carved spruce top, mahogany neck, ebony fretboard, intact pickguard, “The Gibson” and fleur-de-lis headstock inlay and original decorative machine heads.
The frets show wear and the lower side neck binding has been re-glued.
