Fender 1986 MIJ Contemporary Telecaster - Metallic Red, w/Hardshell Case USED
With reduced American Fender production in the mid-'80s, Fender Japan attempted to meet the demand of players at the time with the Contemporary Telecaster. Catering to the shred tastes of that time, it featured a floating trem and either dual humbuckers or a HSS pickup configuration. It was available in black, metallic red or goldtop.
This Tele is in Very Good Condition. There are a couple of minor dings on the guitar top. The rear neck plate has some corrosion. The frets look good with the only wear on the B string (1st thru 4th frets) with plenty of fret left.
Beautiful finish in a contemporary style.
