BOSS RC-600 Loop Station

A Versatile Looper for Stage & Studio

Bring your floor-based looping to new heights onstage and in the studio with the Boss RC-600 Loop Station. This advanced looper pedal puts six simultaneous stereo tracks at your disposal and offers mic and line inputs, 32-bit audio quality, nine assignable footswitches, three pedal modes, a wide variety of FX, and even a rhythm machine—all in a durable metal chassis.

The RC-600 offers both line and XLR mic inputs and allows you to use the six tracks in parallel to create rich multiple loop layers, or in series to provide complex and changing compositional structures. The interface is highly customizable, giving you assignable parameters to control track functions, FX, rhythms, tempo, and more. You can even use a single footswitch for different functions depending on whether you press, hold, or doubleclick it, providing a lot of performance options in a small footprint.

Ready to Connect
  • The extensive connectivity means you can feed this looper a lot of sources.
  • Use the two XLR mic inputs with phantom power to create vocal loops, while the two mono/stereo input pairs are ready for guitars, synths, drum machines, and other instruments.
  • On the output side, three stereo pairs and a headphone jack provide versatile connection options; you can even patch in external effects to process loops.
  • Two external control jacks are supplied, each with support for up to two footswitches or an expression pedal.
  • The USB port is used for data back up and allows you to integrate with computer DAWs and use the Boss Tone Studio to import and export loops.
Advanced Looping Capabilities & Onboard Effects
  • Record on up to six simultaneous stereo phrase tracks.
  • Three overdub modes are available to suit your workflow, with one even allowing you to replace the sound in a loop while it's playing.
  • The Bounce In function lets you bounce several tracks to a single one, freeing up tracks for additional loops; while the Mack Back function expands the Undo/Redo capabilities by letting you instantly jump back to a previously flagged loop state.
  • Change the tempo with half- and double-speed options, or even change the speed without changing the pitch, if your prefer.
  • The vast onboard effect options add a sophisticated level of sound sculpting, with 49 input and 53 track effects to choose from.
  • You can use up to four effects at the same time, while the internal mixer provides mic compression and EQ along with master compression and reverb.
An Array of Sounds, Kits & Patterns
  • With this kind of looping power, playing to a metronome simply won't cut it.
  • Instead the RC-600 offers 16 different drum kits and over 200 rhythm patterns, each with four variations, in a wide variety of styles including rock, pop, acoustic, jazz, Latin, and electronica.
  • You can also import your own SMF rhythms via USB using the dedicated RC Rhythm Converter software.
