BOSS XS-100 Poly Shifter Pitch-Shifting FX Pedal

Setting a new benchmark in polyphonic pitch shifting, the XS-100 Poly Shifter is the flagship pitch-shifting pedal from BOSS, sporting the power to shift tuning up or down by up to four octaves. With an easy-to-use interface consisting of a bright LCD screen, dual-switch pitch-shift control, and an integrated expression pedal, the XS-100 unlocks vast creative possibilities.

The rubber-coated expression pedal features a programmable toe switch that can be used for a variety of functions. The expression pedal curve can also be adjusted to suit your playing style. You can easily customize an extensive array of parameters for each pitch-shifting setting. The pedal offers 30 memory slots for easy recall of settings. With the Tune Down switch, you can quickly retune your guitar/bass or activate the Detune function, which allows you to subtly vary your pitch by ±50 cents. The XS-100 sports diverse connectivity, including 1/4" input, output, and thru, 3.5mm TRS MIDI I/O, USB-C, and an input jack for connecting up to two external footswitch pedals or a single extra expression pedal. The XS-100 Poly Shifter includes an AC power adapter and four rubber feet.

Integrated Expression Pedal

The onboard rubber-capped expression pedal offers excellent playability and smooth, responsive control. The toe switch can be assigned to a variety of functions, including effect on/off, one octave up, one octave down, and more.

Dual Pitch-Shift Control

Two switches control the pitch-shift sound engine. The Tune Down switch delivers instant pitch-shift changes and capo-style effects, and the Effect switch activates the expression pedal for real-time control. Both switch functions can be active simultaneously.

Pitch-Perfect Sound

Leveraging state-of-the-art technology, the XS-100 Poly Shifter enables musicians to perform with unparalleled fluidity and precision, from wild octave sweeps to subtle detuning. Low-latency pitch shifting is possible up or down a four-octave range. Polyphonic pitching allows users to play full chords and fast melodic lines without audio glitches or tracking errors.
