Shred your tone down to its atoms with the Electro-Harmonix Pico Atomic Cluster Spectral Decomposer, a synth and glitch FX pedal capable of generating a wide range of sounds, from rhythmic lo-fi tones and auto arpeggios to ambient synth pads. By reducing the frequency resolution of your signal and running it through an oscillation algorithm, this pedal produces unique textures.
The Atoms control sets how many oscillations are produced at once. Speed sets the rate of oscillation refresh, which can be directly controlled via tap tempo. The Mode button on the top switches between Sharp mode, for instant oscillation transitions, and Smooth mode, which provides a gentle fading transition between oscillations, ideal for ambient soundscapes. You can also control the blend of the original and processed signals and the output volume. With a compact pico form factor, this unique effect is easier to fit onto your pedalboard than ever before. The Pico Atomic Cluster Spectral Decomposer includes a 9V power supply.
The Speed knob adjusts how quickly the pedal refreshes the oscillations, allowing you to control the timing and rhythm of the effect. Slower settings can mimic the sound of a rhythmic step filter, while faster settings create a more chaotic, random feeling effect. Speed can also be set by tap tempo. Additional Volume and Blend controls adjust overall output level and wet/dry mix respectively.
