Every Larrivée is built using all solid wood. No plys, laminates, or "layered" woods are ever used.

Larrivee takes the time to source all their own material, hand selecting wood ensures they only use the best of the best. The search takes them from the exotic jungles of West India to the supernatural rain forests of British Columbia. The wood then arrives at the factory, ready for their curing combination of air dry and kiln drying.  Some of it will age in their warehouse for up to a decade to achieve optimum tonal properties.

Whatever the wood, whatever the model, when you pick up your Larrivée, you're part of an amazing story - from forest floor to the stage floor.

Built to the exact standards you would find on their much higher series, the 03 is built in America using all solid wood and features a hand-fit dovetail neck joint for superior fit and sustain. This series truly stands out as an industry leader for price and quality. All-solid East Indian Rosewood, maple bound trim, herringbone purfling, rosette and satin finish are standard features on 03 Series.

The L.R. Baggs 'Stagepro Element' makes this series performance ready. With onboard volume, EQ, notch filter, and chromatic tuner, you are ready to hit the stage with complete control.
